Myanmar King Cities Tour

Bagan, the world heritage site of Bagan is the wonder of wanders in the golden land and It is known as The City of Four Million pagodas, is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia situated on the easten bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River about 193 km south of Mandalay. The ruin of Bagan City covers an area of 42 sq;km containing over 3000 edifices. As a manifestation of dynamic and original form of architecture. Bagan stands alongside the other great Buddhist Centers of Southeast Asia like Angkor- Wat or Borobudur in Java.

The ravages of war and mother nature have taken their toll on the many historical monuments in Bagan. Some of the wooden ancient ruins were completely destroyed while religious monuments built of bricks are still standing . A recent earthquake in 1975 almost destroyed all hopes of its reconstruction plans, which were finally completed in 1981. Many of Bagan’s interesting monuments are being renovated.

G&G (Sp-01) : Yangon – Bagan – Yangon ( 5 Days / 4 Nights ).


Day (1) - Arrival day (D)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, warmly welcome by guide ( escort ) and transfer to hotel. Evening sightseeing in high lights Shwedagon Pagoda (world famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to height of 326 feet), dinner and cultural show at Restaurant . Overnight in Yangon.
 


Day (2) - Yangon – Bagan (B/L/D)

Morning check out hotel, drive to airport, fly to Bagan (1 hour flying ), arrive at Nyaung – U Airport, transfer to hotel, check in hotel, relax for a while, afternoon sightseeing tour of Bagan, features Myazedi Pagoda and Pillar, Myingabar Kybyaukkyi, Archaeological Museum, this museum run by Archaeological Department is situated near the Ananda Temple. It has a collection of more than 2000 items including Buddhas Statues, stucco pieces, terra-cotta cups and pots. Open from 09:30 am to 15:00 pm daily except Monday and public holidays. The new large museum is under construction and it will exhibit more ancient artifacts.

Anada Temple, the beautiful and finest Monument in Bagan, Anada Temple was completes in 2th century, with King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style of temple architecture. The most attractive feature of archaeological design some what like a Greek cross).

Dhammayangyi, the biggest monument in Bagan, Dhammayangyi was founded by King Nayathu in the year of A.D (1160-1165 ) is a massive temple built with the finest bricks.

Sulamuni Temple, the pagoda temple like Htilominlo and the Gawdawpalin with better interior lighting. It stands beyond the Dhammayangyi Temple and was built in A.D. 1181 by Narapatisithu. The interior was once painted with fine frescoes but only traces can be seen today.

Thabyunyu Temple, the highest Monuments in Bagan is over 66 metres high. The temple was built by King Alaungsitthu in the middle of 12th century, it overtops all monuments and affords visitors magnificent panorama of Bagan land.Panoramic view of sun setting land Bupaya Pagoda in the bank of Ayeyarwady river. Day (3) - Bagan (B/L/D)

After breakfast, whole day sightseeing in Bagan.
Htilominlo Temple, Built in A.D. 1211 by King Nantaungmya, the Htilo-minlo is one of the largest temples of Bagan. It was a double-storeyed structure rising 50 meters above the ground. Thistemplev is noted for its fine plaster carvings on the arch pediments, friezes and pilaster.

Nanpaya Temple, one of the oldest ancient monuments in Bagan, built by King Manuha in 11 century equipped with stone window for lighting and airy into the interior part of the cave with stone when he was in prison in this cave. Wall painting pictures and the stone carving of ancient and handicrafts of various materials can still be seen in this cave temple.

Excursion to Lacquer wear Factory and sightseeing and shopping the ancient time till today, master-pieces of Lacquer wares are the pride of Bagan. Those who visited Bagan can’t control anymore without buying souvenirs such as ashtrays, bowls, jewellery boxes, trays and so on. Overnight in Bagan.
 


Day (4) - Bagan – Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast, sightseeing in Nyaung U, after lunch back to Yangon, overnight in Yangon.
 


Day (5) - Departure Day (B)
After breakfast, check out hotel, fly back to your home land
 

 


Mount Popa

Mount Popa, is generally known as the abode of Legendary Nats, or Spirit of Gods for which the annual festival is held during the Myanmar month of Nayon ( May – June ).

G&G (Sp-02) : Yangon – Bagan – Mt Popa - Yangon ( 5 Days / 4 Nights ).
 


Day (1) - Arrival day (D)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, warmly welcome by guide ( escort ) and transfer to hotel. Evening sightseeing in high lights Shwedagon Pagoda (world famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to height of 326 feet), dinner and cultural show at Restaurant (a royal barge on the lake in Kandawgyi Relaxation Zone). Day (2) - Yangon – Bagan (B/L/D)
Morning check out hotel, drive to airport, fly to Bagan (1 hour flying ), arrive at Nyaung – U Airport, transfer to hotel, check in hotel, relax for a while, afternoon sightseeing tour of Bagan. Overnight in Bagan.
 


Day (3) - Bagan – Mt. Popa (B/L/D)

After breakfast, morning excursion to Mt. Popa ( rose from the ground are result of an earthquake 442 BC. Mt. Popa, known as Myanmar of Olympia, is 30 miles away from Bagan and is also a place, believed to be spiritual world. Mt. Popa, a 1518 meters (4981 feet) high and extinct volcano, is surrounded by EVER GREEN reserved forest with a MONKEY VILLAGE. Lunch and sightseeing in Popa surrounding Area and Popa Resort Hotel & Restaurant. Back to Bagan. Excursion to Lacquer wear Factory and sightseeing in Bagan. Overnight in Bagan.
 


Day (4) - Bagan – Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast, own leisure, drive to airport, fly to Yangon, check in Kandawgyi Palace Hotel or Similar, shopping and sightseeing in National Museum, Bogyoke Aung San Market, Botahtaung Pagoda, before dinner see the sunset in Myanmar Sea Port, dinner at Restaurant, overnight in Yangon.
 


Day (5) - Departure Day (B)
Before airport see the sun rise in Myanmar seaport, after that back to hotel and check out hotel. Then go to airport for departure.
 

MANDALAY, the last capital of the Myanmar kingdom. Mandalay is the second largest city after Yangon . Mandalay was built by King Mindom , who is 1st king of Mandalay . But his son , King Sibow in the last king of Myanmar .Known as the center of Myanmar culture & rich in traditional dance , music & refined arts . Mandalay is also famous for It’s fine gold and silver crafts , marble and wood carvings , silk thread weaving ancient tapestry .

Taunggyi, the capital of Shan State, in the Easten part of Myanmar, is known for its exotic scenic beauty, and pleasant weather, situated 1433 meters ( 4700 feet ) above sea-level and it is ideal for holiday-makers during the summer. A major attraction of Taunggyi is the main market where one can see colorfully – dressed hill tribe people flocking there every morning to sell varieties of delicious fruits and vegetables.
The Su – taung – pye Pagoda located on the hilltop is a place where one can enjoy the panoramic view of the town and surroundings.

Inle Lake, of Southern Shan State is located about 30 km to the south of Taunggyi. This vast beautiful and picturesque lake sheltered among the hazy blue mountains of 1542 meters, stretches 22.4 km long and 10.2 km wide. The Lake itself is about 900 meters height above sea-level and included with floating islands. Inle Lake is famous for its unique leg rowers, floating villages and colorful markets held once in five days at village around the Inle Lake in interesting being full of pageantry and colorful splendour.
 

G&G (Sp-03) : Yangon – Bagan – Mt Popa – Mandalay - Yangon ( 6 Days / 5 Nights ).

Night stop in Mandalay.
 


Day (5) - Mandalay – Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast, half day sightseeing in Mahamuni Image and the traditional handicraft work shops one can see marble works and wood carvings, Shwenandaw Ancient Monastery and Atumashi Monastey, Gold Leaf making work, After lunch, drive to airport, fly to Yangon (16:00)pm, arrive at Yangon airport ( 18:00 )pm, transfer to Hotel, dinner and overnight in Hotel.
 


Day (6) - Departure Day (B)
After breakfast, time leisure, drive to airport, fly your home land.
