Golden
Rock Temple Tour
Kyaik Htiyo, the Golden rock Temple is also called the
Kyaikhtiyo, which is located on top of Kyaikhtiyo hill at about
3600 feet (1100 meter ) above sea level in the Mon State and
approximately 130 miles (210 Km ) from Yangon. It was built by
the hermit more than 2500 years ago, in the time of Buddha.
Shape is like hermit head stone pagoda because the pagoda on the
stone. The hair relic is given by himself to a hermit . Hermit
treasured sacred hair in his hair knot until he found a boulder
which is like his head . After hermit was build a pagoda with
hair relic on the Top of the stem which is like his head .Mon
language Kyaik means pagoda and Yo means to carry on the
head , in Pali means hermit , Thus , the name kyaikhtiyo
derived from Kyaik Thi Yo , the pagoda carried on a
hermits head .

Day (1) - Arrival Day (D)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport,

transfer to Hotel. Evening sightseeing in high

feet), dinner and cultural show at Restaurant (a royal

Morning fly to Mandalay, arrive in
Mandalay, transfer to hotel, sightseeing
and overnight in Mandalay.

(3) - Mandalay Laukkai (B/L/D)
Morning drive to Laukkai by coach,
Laukai is city of Kokant, it is round
about 600 miles north east of Mandalay
and it is 10 miles away from Nan San (
small town ) in China. Arrive at Laukkai,
transfer to hotel. Dinner and night
scene in Laukkai, you can play the
casino and night life Kokant.

After breakfast, sightseeing in Laukkai.
Mountain, River, Terrace, beautiful

tribe, Shan tribe and others.
Overnight in Kakant.

Kokant Mandalay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, drive back to Mandalay,
dinner and night stop in Mandalay.

Day (3) - Mandalay Byadarlin Cave
(B/L/D)
Morning drive (07:00)am by coach to
Southward, through Myittha town, to King
Tar Dam, near Ywa ngan township of
Southern Shan State, in the upper part
of Pan Laung River. Proceed by boat
from the Dam to the foot of Byaderlin
Hill. Lunch on boat. First, climb to the
hill-top ( 355m above sea level ) to
have a spectacular view of surrounding
ridges and forests. Then enter the
caves. Study primitive paintings and
drawings on cave walls and stone-age
artifacts ( Now on display for visitors
). Sightseeing the area. In the evening,
walk down to riverbank and return by the
same route Via King Tar Dam to Mandalay.

Day (4) -
Mandalay Yangon (B/L/D)
After breakfast, fly back to Yangon,
excursion to Gems museum which available
with a grantee of export, National
Museum. Shopping to Bogyoke Aung San
Market, a shopping center of Yangon.
Before dinner sightseeing in Botahtaung
Pagoda and see the sunset in the Myanmar
seaport. Dinner at Restaurant.
Overnight in Yangon.

Departure day (B)
After breakfast, check out hotel, fly
back to your home land.
